Last month of fishing reports since I’ve done the rebuild and got back from bermi. First up I’ve been chasing local mulloway in an undisclosed location and I believe we have lost 2 this far, however we had a cracker session while soaking livies on the perch, 32 fish in a crazy hour session up to 48cm. Couple of photos attached of the deckies perch. Did a 2 week stint at Narooma, headed wide on day but couldn’t find much action so stuck to the island and in. Had a ball on kingies to around 80cm keeping a few for a feed but releasing a whole lot more all on jigs- I was farrrrrrked after a good 4hour session. Tonnes of bonito and flathead so a good feed. Also have been fishing out of warneet/blindbight on the whiting, mostly 32-42cm fish but plenty. Plus got the Mrs a few token gummy on the same marks.

Had an awesome trip fishing with dad and Peter at bermagui with the Knox Boat Fishing Club.

We landed and released 8 marlin for the week, with the best day landing 3 before 12pm.

7 stripes and 1 Blue Marlin.

We landed a double on our first day fishing sunday on skip baits.

Got 1 on a live slimey on Tuesday.

Got 3 Wednesday after having a double on lures and landing 1, then 2 on skip baits. The 3rd Marlin was teased by Peter from a molcraft lure out the back on the shotgun rigger to the skip bait nearest the boat, about 50meter tease.

Then landed 2 today on skip baits, off solid bait that we marked 8 fish on.

Can’t wait for the next trip.

Had another great day on the water at bermagui.

Going 3-2-2 on marlin. Found a stack of marlin on bait and worked the area and pulled 2 marlin as well as a 3rd hit that didnt stay connected.

All 3 fish were on skip baits behind a flippy floppy teaser.
