The Bemm River event will soon be upon us on the weekend of the 21st-22nd March.

The event has been changed to March this year to try and catch better weather.

Again we will be sponsoring the event with nibbles and drinks at the weigh in, a meal supplied on the Saturday night, which is usually an event on its own and prizes for captures if we have decent numbers attending.

Although it’s a bream comp, other species that can be caught are Flathead, Perch, Salmon, Taylor, Ludrick etc. Lure and bait fishing are both successful and bait is available from the local store or you can pump your own sand worms and soft shell.

The Cosy Nook has all cabins available at this stage and to book, call Peter on 0487 307 446 and mention your from KBFC, but don’t leave it to long to book as he will open up bookings to anyone after a couple of weeks.
