Our fortnightly meetings run along on a casual format with time given to immediate matters, followed by fishing reports from the floor, discussions on results from past events, times and venues for upcoming Events, raffle draws and general discussion from the members. A Guest Speaker is invited when possible to discuss matters relating to upcoming events or other fishing topics. The “DOB” session is always lively, when the only rule applying is “don’t necessarily spoil a good story with the truth”. All Dobbed-in anglers enthusiastically contribute to the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal Tin which nets a yearly donation of over
$1,000 from our club.
Our Clubrooms are owned by the Knox City Council and are leased to us as caretakers. As such, we are responsible for the subcontracting hire of the premises, which at present includes two Community-based Probus Clubs.
